Show Letters to Editor Treat Men Equally Editor: Does inferiority, or rather, the feeling of inferiority, arise from an actual functional deficiency, or is it "all in the mind?" I would say that the complex, "the feeling, arises from both or either one, depending upon the case in point. However, I would not say that skin color is a functional deficiency, defici-ency, and to say that a race or nationality is inferior in all cases because of customs or color would be to make a highly erroneous statement. And, it would be more tragic if a member of a particular group were to publicly announce that his race is inferior, for, not only would he degrade his people, but he would also give the public the mistaken impression that all members of his race shared the same opinion. I HAPPEN (I say "happen" because be-cause it is my belief that we do not choose our heritage when we come into this world) to belong to one of the racial minority groups I am a Japanese and I am not, in any way, ashamed of it My life has been rete-acquaintances rete-acquaintances and friends o: races, including the catip and I do not feel that I inferior in-ferior to them because o; skin color, neither do I e: any one of them is inferior for the same reason.
