Show Campus Briefs KUER Schedules Week s Listening Outgoing President, Jitrendra Shas was lauded for his outstanding outstand-ing work last year. After a lecture by Dr. Arval Sireadbeck, refreshments refresh-ments were served in honor of the Divali Celebration. The purpose of the group is to present their culture to University students. They work with the faculty, fac-ulty, students committees, and other programs on campus. English Writings Many of the great English writings writ-ings as read by staff members of the English Department can be heard every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. over KUER, according to the department's de-partment's head, Harold F. Folland. The broadcasts are meant to acquaint ac-quaint the public with literature. They will also be used in conjunction conjunc-tion with English 15, 82, and 83, since most the literature for the broadcasts are taught in those classes. Symhony Debs Symphony Debs will meet today at 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in room 303 of the Music Hall. - India Students A meeting of India Students Association As-sociation was held Sunday, Nov. 2 and new officers were elected for the coming year.
