Show j Walter S. Parkinson Funeral services for Walter S. Parkinson, 68, who died in I the Milford Hospital Tuesday morning of a cerebral hemorrhage, hemorr-hage, will be held at 11 a. m. Friday, Aug. 31, in the Milford L D S Chapel. Mr. Parkinson was born April 14, 1888, at Topeka, Kan., a son of John M. and Chloe A. Collins Parkinson. He married Ella Bennett in Evanston, Wyo., July 19, 1921. He moved to Provo from Okmulgee, Ok-mulgee, Okla., in 1904, work-! ing as a fireman for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad, Rail-road, and has been employed by the Union Pacific since 1906, the last 45 years as an engineer. engi-neer. He moved to Milford in 1924. During World War I he served with a railroad battalion in France. Survivors, besides his widow, include three children: Ella Jean Terry, Rupert, Idaho; Genevieve Emal, of Pleasant Grove; and John Paul Parkinson, Parkin-son, Milford; one grandchild, Jeanne Lyn Emal, and a half-brother, half-brother, Bert Parkinson, Caldwell, Cald-well, Idaho. Friends may view the body at the Parkinson home in Milford Mil-ford Friday morning until time of services. Burial will be at 6 p. m. Friday in the Santaquin cemetery. |
