Show INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be jreseJived at this office until 2:00 o'clock p. m., August 7, 1956, for paving the N-S runway run-way of the Milford Municipal Airport at Milford, Utah. Bids will be opened on or about this time by the Utah State Director Direct-or of Aeronautics. The work consists essentially essential-ly of scarifying, smoothing ana compacting the; existing gravel base course, 41,666 sq. yds. bituminous base course, 2-in. thick, mixed in place by travel-plant method, 41,666 sq. yd.; bituminous material SC-3 or MC-3, 47,240 gallons; bituminous bi-tuminous prime coat MC-1, 10,400 gallons; bituminous seal coat RC-4, 10,400 gallons; cover aggregate (chips) 525 tons. tj$j3 All work shall comply with Civil Aeronautics Administration Administra-tion standards. Plans and Specifications: Copies of the . contract documents, docu-ments, plans and 'specifications are on file at this office and at the office of Neff Engineering Engineer-ing and Construction Co., 2500 Evergreen Ave., Salt Lake City, Utah, and are open to public inspection. A set of such documents may be obtained ob-tained upon a deposit of $10,' which will be forfeited unless a bona fide bid is made and plans and specifications are returned re-turned in good condition within (5) days after bids are opened. Proposal Guaranty: Each bid shall be accompanied by cash, bid bond, or certified check made payable to the State Aeronautics Aero-nautics Commission, in an amount equal to at least five per cent (5) of the amount of said bid, and no bid shall be considered con-sidered unless such cash, bid bond or certified check is enclosed en-closed therewith. Time limit 'for completion of the entire project will be 60 working days. The Secretary of Labor has predetermined the minimum rate of hourly wages to be paid by the contractor, and a copy of these rates is included in the Notice to Contractors. This is a Federal-aid Project, and the contractor will be bound by the provisions of the "Regulations for Administrating Administrat-ing the Federal Airport Act." HARLON W.
