Show Soaletjf Clubs Mrs. Lillian Nelson returned 1 leenily from Riverside, Calif., where she attended funeral i vices for a friend, John Ven-able. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Muncey of Whit tier. Calif., are in Milford calling on old friends. They are at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lane Frazier. Robert C. Glenn and John R. Killam are taking basic training train-ing at Parks A F Base in Cali- 1 'fornia. They were sworn into the Air Force on July 1st. MR. AND MRS. MAX BAXTER BAX-TER announce the engagement of their daughter, Jonelle, to Mr. Frank Hopkins, son of Mr. Orlo Hopkins of Culver City, Calif. The marriage will take place in the early fall. Mrs. Elisabeth Martin has returned re-turned to Milford after a week's visit in Los Angeles with relatives rela-tives and friends. MR. AND MRS. MAX BAXTER BAX-TER announce the engagement of their daughter, Marie, to Mr. Guy Heslington, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Heslington of Min-ersville. Min-ersville. The wedding will take place early in September. Mr. and Mrs. Rosslyn Eppich and small daughter were in Milford last week end. They were en route to Delta, where Mr. Eppich will be principal of the junior high school next year. Mr. and Mrs. George D. Spainhower, 'formerly of Whit-tier, Whit-tier, Calif., have moved to La Hambra, Calif. Mrs. Spainhower Spain-hower and two children have been visiting in Milford and Adamsville. They were guests at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Kesler and Mr. and Mrs. V W. Spainhower. O Mrs Morris Nielson and two sons of Price have been in Milford Mil-ford the past week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Crane. Mr. Nielson drove from Price Thursday, and Friday Fri-day the family will leave 'for their home. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd B. Hansen Han-sen and son Douglas of Richfield Rich-field motored over to Milford Tuesday to spend the 24th with the O. C. Koch famliy. They returned re-turned home Wednesday, taking with them their son Lee K., who has been in Milford with his grandparents for two months. Mrs. Joe Cerva joined her small daughter Susan, and son in law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Reese, in Milford Wednesday for a few days' visit. vis-it. Friday Mrs. Cerva and Susan Su-san will return to their home in Twin Falls, Idaho. |
