Jean Muir of Beaver, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Muir, is spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Paice. Ella Marie Hill of Provo is enjoying a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Naruse. Laura Sherwood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherwood, celebrated her ninth birthday on Tuesday, July 10th. Root beer floats, birthday cake and ice cream were served to Leslie Marshall, Keith, Kathy and Louise GiUins, Deanna Walker, Walk-er, Judy Naruse, Margaret and Ilene McKnight, Judy Paice, Jean Muir of Beaver, Marsha Smith, Linda and Brian Sherwood, Sher-wood, Jim and Denny Wright, Ella Marie of Provo, Dixie Lee, Joan Couch, Marlene Clayson. The afternoon was spent playing play-ing games. Linda received many lovely gifts. Joan McKnight assisted Mrs. Sherwood with the party. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stoker of Cedar City visited Mr. and Mrs. Clair Gillins last week. Mrs. Nora Wright and son Denny, and grandson Keith Gillins, visited in Salt Lake Thursday and Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright and son, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wright and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Burnham. Goodwin of Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Harland Goodwin and son Robert Allan of Panaca, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Goodwin and family of Los Angeles; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Goodwin and daughter of Wen-clover, Wen-clover, Mrs. Stella Wallbom and family of Salt Lake. Lola Walker of Oroville, Cal., visited for a week with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Theman Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lewis and family of Tooele are spending spend-ing a week at the home of Mrs LaPrele Lewis. Mrs. Hattie Myers of Minersville Miners-ville visited last week with her daughter, Cassie McKnight. It has been reported that persons are using spotlights of their cars and hunting after dark along the South Milford lanes. This constitutes two law violations: Using a spotlight spot-light for hunting and shooting from a public road. Proper j authorities should take note. Mr. and Mrs. James Mayer, Adele, Adriann and Odett enjoyed en-joyed the Fourth of July celej bration at Minersville. The County Road Crew is engaged en-gaged in flood control work west of Milford, building up the dike along the channel to hidden hid-den lake. Mr. and Mrs. Mitch Fisher left for Springville to get Tim and Jan, who have been visiting there with Mr. and Mrs. Gael Elmer. O Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fisher of Midvale and Mr. and Mrs. Lane Fisher of San Francisco have been visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher. This is the first time the brothers broth-ers have been together in many years. Michael Fisher returned home with Mr. and Mrs. Lane Fisher to visit the Norman Fishers Fish-ers at Woodland, Calif, e Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Crandall and baby of Sprfingville visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Leo Clayson. A delicious dinner was served last week at the home of !
