Show LITTLE LEAGUERS PLAY AT MINERSVILLE On July Fourth all four Little Lit-tle League teams went to Minersville Min-ersville and played a double-header. double-header. The Clinic continued their victory string by defeating the Railroaders, and Jeff Merc, behind be-hind the excellent pitching of Brad Weston, defeated the Merchants. Mer-chants. Home runs of the week were by Roland Bacon, Railroaders; and Melvin Wadsworth (2), of the Merchants. TEAM STANDINGS W L Pet. Second half play starts July 23, which will give the boys a well-earned vacation. On July 24th they will play a doubleheader, with concessions conces-sions in operation during the game. All proceeds will go to the little league. We expect to have a scoreboard score-board in operation for the second sec-ond half, this will add to the fan-interest in the games.
