Show Personal Mention Mr. and Mrs. Owen R. Smith Jr., of Oakland, Calif., spent several days in Milford with their many friends and relatives. rela-tives. They were house guests of Mr. Smith's parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. R Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wright and baby have moved to Salt Lake. Mrs. Floyd Wright moved their household things to the Capitol City last week. I Mrs. Rose Lee underwent a I major operation Tuesday morning morn-ing at the Beaver County Hospital. Hos-pital. Mr. and Airs. Dell Holyoak have moved into the home formerly for-merly occupied by Mr. and Mrs. George McDonald. Nevvlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Smith Jr. are living in one of the Lamar Outzen apartments apart-ments on Main Street. George Mcintosh, son of Mrs. Irene Mcintosh, is home on a 20-day furlough. He has been at Fort Ord, Calif., but expects to be shipped to Alaska for the next 15 months. Monday the Julian Arnold family returned from a month's vacation trip to Kentucky and Detroit, Mich. -Mayor and Mrs. Ray Kizer and daughter Toni Lynn will leave Friday for a 15-day vacation vaca-tion trip to the northern part of California. They will be calling call-ing on Mrs. Kizer's relatives. City Marshall Ronald Gale attended at-tended the Peace Officers Convention Con-vention Friday and Saturday in Cedar City. Mrs. Rosemary Davie and children and Dianne Turner returned re-turned from Farmington, N. M., after visiting there for three . weeks. Margaret Ann Turner is in Arcadia, Calif., with her grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Slinkerd. Mrs. Clyde Tanner and three sons, Eddie, Jeffrey and Stephen of Los Angeles, are in Milford at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Morris. Mrs. Tanner, Eddie, and Mrs. Thelma Gillins went the Salt Lake this week, where Eddie entered the L D S Mission Home to train for a mission to Mexico. Clyde Tanner Tan-ner will join his family in Milford Mil-ford this week end, and they will remain here until 'July 10. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Magill have returned from California, where they attended funeral services of Mrs. Magill's brother. broth-er. Accompanying the Magills back to Milford was a granddaughter, grand-daughter, Kathy, 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Magill of Granada Hills, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Al Beucas of Hill Field is expected in Milford soon to be guests of the Ray Magills. Mr. and Mrs. W. M. White of Ontario, Oregon, were here for four days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schow. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Barnes had as house guests for a week, Mr. and Mrs. Drew Stepheson of Kansas City, Mo. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham the past week were Mr. Mecham's children, chil-dren, Mrs. Lois Barlow of El Monte, Calif., and Paul Mecham of Cedar Citv Mr. and Mrs. Norman Blad and son David of Caliente are at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham this week. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cleave and son have moved to Provo, where Mr. Cleave was transferred trans-ferred by the Union Pacific. Mrs. Keith Long and two small sons are in Wisconsin. The Roy Young family has returned to Milford after a month's vacation trip through the Southern States. Highlights of the trip were stops in Natchez, Nat-chez, Miss., where they visited a 105 year old mansion; at Laurel, Miss., and Sumner, Ga., stops were made to visit friends, and they also toured the Cypress Gardens and drove over the famous Skyway bridge. At Brooksville, Fla., they visited Mr. Young's folks, and en route home drove through the Missouri Mis-souri Ozarks. They also stopped at Mesa Verde National Park, Colo., before returning home. Betty Ferguson and Genevieve Gene-vieve Sherriff of Salt Lake will be in Milford Friday for a week's visit with relatives and friends. Attending the Tolley Family reunion in Nephi last week end were Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Tolley and daughters Donna and Kay, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gale. |
