Show LITTLE LEAGUE ORGANIZATION DATE SET Whether Milford has a Little League baseball team next year, participating in a national program, or continues with a few softball teams for our children to engage in competitive competi-tive summer sports, will be decided de-cided at a meeting scheduled for early in January. All local organizations are requested re-quested to name representatives to the meeting, and fathers, mothers and other interested persons are urged to plan now to attend this Jaycee-sponsored meeting. "The program cannot be begun, be-gun, and cannot be carried on successfully, without the sup-pert sup-pert of a large group of people," peo-ple," a spokesman said. "It will be up to the people of Milford Mil-ford to decide if they want it." Last year the Cedar City Little League club progressed through district and state competition, com-petition, then in the national playoffs won all contests except ex-cept the final, national championship cham-pionship game. |
