NORTH CREEK HAS MANY URANIUM MINES North Creek is another drive similar to Indian Creek, with a few farm residences in the lower low-er elevations and the terrain changing to the more rugged canyon scenery as the motorist continues along the creek. The fishing is good, and there are many new uranium strikes and prospects along the route. Turn east at the high school in Beaver, continue past the fair grounds, and turn north at the "North Creek" sign.
