Show TIGERS LOSE TO EAGLES AND RAMS The Milford casaba artists returned to the "efficiency" column in their games against Millard at Fillmore and Delta at Milford, but were unable to break into the o'ffic;al' league win column. Their last two ' games were well played, and the boys have nothing to be ashamed of . in losing they just didn't win 'em, although the games could have gone either way. In both games, it was anybody's ball game with a minute to play, and the team ahead in the final minute always seems to pull farther ahead" through penalties for overanxiousness on the part of the trailing squad, pressure, . etc. ' At home against Delta, last Friday, the Tigers trailed by j 2 points with two minutes to i go, and the final score had i them 5 pomt down. I Vee Wadsworth with 16 points in the box score and Vaughn McDonald with 11 couldn't match the 12-11-12-11' racked up by Schlappi, Jensen, i Vest and Bennett. Phil Moody, I only other Rabbit to see action, ; was held to 2, and Stoker had 6 with Williams and Ashworth hitting for 4. Coach Pet'ey and Coach Christensen plaved only five i men each. Wednesday night at Paro- j wan the Tigers started off i ' with a deficit and never man- j j aged to catch up. Final score j was 74-42 for the league-I league-I leading Rams. Saturday, they play Beaver at Beaver, and hope to rack j up their first win. i The box: MILFORD G T F P Williams 2 0 0 4, Ashworth 2 0 0 4 j Wadsworth -.7 4 2 16 McDonald 4 6 3 11 Stoker 3 0 0 6 TOTALS 18 10 5 41 DELTA G T F P Schlappi 6 0 0 12 Jensen 5 3 1 11 I Moody 1 0 0 2 Vest 3 6 5 1 1 Bennett '. 4 4 4 12 i TOTALS 19 13 10 48 Score by quarters: Milford 13 23 32 41 Delta 8 22 37 48 Officials Brinkerhoff and Jones. i MILFORD G T F P , Ashworth 15 2 4 Smith 0 1 0 0!
