Show 'MAURICE ROOT LAID TO REST AFTER TUESDAY SERVICES Funeral services were held in the Milford L D S Chapel last Tuesday for Maurice McKay Root, 13-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Root, who died Thursday night in a Salt Lake hospital of complications following follow-ing surgery. Preceding the services, which were under the direction of Second Sec-ond Ward Bishop Gael Elmer, Mrs. Beth Edwards played prelude pre-lude music. The opening prayer was by First Ward Eishop E. R. J.ones. Mrs. Josephine Killam and Mrs. Ramona Smith sang a vocal duet, accompanied by Aaron Hansen. Appropriate remarks were made by Carlyle Gronning, followed fol-lowed by a vocal solo by Aaron Hansen, accompanied by Mrs. Edwards. , Bishop Elmer spoke, and Kent Hanney pronounced .the benediction. benedic-tion. Pallbearers were Don Campbell, Camp-bell, Kent Hanney, Gordon Mur-dock Mur-dock and Neal Hollis. Maurice McKay Root was born Aug. 5, 1951, in Milford, a son' of Maurice Max and Janet Smith Root. -fg Besides the parents, he is survived sur-vived by a sister, Janet Ann Root; and the following grandparents: grand-parents: Mr. and Mrs. Max Root of Milford, and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Smith of Beaver. Burial was in the Milford Cemetery. |
