Show iBAND NETS $126 IN DOWNTOWN 'PANTS' CONCERT Wednesday afternoon was "New Pants" day for Milford's High School Band, and they played a swell concert on Main Street while the Band Mothers urged the citizenry to cover with coins a white stripe painted down the middle of the street. High winds and post-primary blues were responsible for the small crowd of listeners, but those who did turn out for the excellent music laid a total of $126 "on the i line" to hejp pay for the slacks. New slacks, which the Marching March-ing Band hopes to wear to Band Day at the U of U Stadium on Oct 4th, will cost about $600, and it is understood the Board of Education will pay half the cost. School patrons and well-wishers who didn't get to offer their linancial encouragement to this grand group of musicians may do so by mailing their check to Instructor Jerrald J. McDermott cr handing a contribution to any member of the Bands Mothers Moth-ers organization.
