On their return re-turn home they took infant Francis Fran-cis Hanley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hanley of Colorado, who had been cared for for the past four months by Mrs. Hanley. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tuttle and daughter Janice of SaH Lake were here Memorial Day, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Stott. I Sgt. Richard Jeffer- son surPrised the cv home folks when he arrived in Milford from North Africa ' Saturday evening. Sgt. Jeffer-I Jeffer-I son had been stationed in Africa I for one ''year. After a 20-day I leave he will report to March F eld, Ca1., where he expects to receive his discharge from the U S Air Force June 20th. Mr. and Mrs.' Stanley Voorheei and family of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hickman and children chil-dren and Mrs. Arlene Voorhees and daughter of Provo, were Memoiial Day visitors in Mil- I ford, guests at the home of Mr. I and Mrs. Ralph Moore. Sharon and Philip Hickman stayed for j a few days' visit. j Mrs. Faye Berger and three sons are planning a trip to Victor, Vic-tor, Idaho, this week-end. ' V DeLane Johnson has ; completed his "boot" j YejsSr train'ng and has been T5e assigned to duty . aboard ship. Arriv ing at Pearl Harbor, DeLane was assigned to the same ship on which his brother, Orlyn, is serving, and the boys are now en route to Japan. Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter spent the week-end in Moroni with Mrs. Baxter's relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vernon were three-day visitors in Salt Lake at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Weston Vernon. They also visited relatives in Wanship and Oakley Utah. Mrs. Norman Baxter's mother, i Mrs. M. L. Roane of San Fer-; Fer-; nando Valley, Cal., and her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Roane and Jimmie, of Burbank, were in Milford re-! re-! cently. Wade Baxter returned to California with the group, for a summer vacation. |
