SCOUT TROOP IS ORGANIZED Milford's Girl Scout troop No. j ! 1 observed the fortieth anniversary anniver-sary of Girl Scouting with an investiture ceremony for Girl Scout troop No. 2, in the L D S j recreation hall Wednesday eve-( eve-( ning. Mrs. Ella Musbach and Mrs. Mary McCulley, troop one leaders, addressed the members of both troops on Girl Scouting in general, and stressed the ideals of the Vi million Girl Scouts who on Wednesday celebrated cele-brated their fortieth year of scouting. Featuring the entertainment was a demonstration of folk dances by the girls of troop 1, who instructed the new Girl Scouts in several of the dance numbers. After an impressive candle lighting ceremony, the new members recited the promise prom-ise and laws of the Girl Scouts, and Mrs. Florence Beard and Mrs. Hilda Shields, leaders of the new troop, presented their members with Girl Scout pins. Members of the newly invested invest-ed troop are Shirleen Shields, Sandra Beard, Susan Williams, Sally Williams, Sheila Dalton, ' Colleen Hutchings, Dixie Rae I Roberts, Karen Baudino, Doris Clements, Harriet Cline, Connie i Ho'brook and Lucille Ferguson.
