Show i It's A Merry Christmas , 4 si Mac Armstrong A. K. Bohn Sgt. Mac D. Armstrong, husband hus-band of Mrs. Edith Murdock Armstrong of Minersville, ar-j ar-j rived home Sunday. A member of the 213th Field Artillery, he left Cedar City in October, 1950, for Ft. Lewis, Wash., and on Jan. 14, 1951, the National Guard unit sailed for the Korea war front. Sgt. Armstrong served in the South Pacific for 36 months during World War II. In Korea, Sgt. Armstrong wasij transferred to the Korean army, where he spent five months helping train Korean soldiers. Returning to his group with the Eighth Army, he worked with Headquarters Battery in wire service. Sgt. Armstrong is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong of Cedar City. He has one son, Donald, 2 years old, who with Mrs. McDonald lived with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murdock, Mur-dock, While Mac was overseas. , After spending Christmas at "Cedar City with his family, Sgt. Armstrong will report to Camp Roberts, Calif., Jan. 6th, for reassignment. |
