Show Seconb Marb By MRS. BETH FISHER Speakers in sacrament meeting meet-ing on Oct. 14 were Evan Patterson Pat-terson and LaVal Bradshaw of Beaver, who were representing the Stake High Council. Both gave very intersting and worthwhile worth-while talks in which they urged the people to live the Gospel. The statement was made that if all Latter-day Saints would live the Gospel as they should there would be no need to send missionaries mis-sionaries into the world. The program next Sunday night will be given by the MIA and a fine program - is being planned. All are urged to corrae out. During their recent visit to Idaho Mr. and Mrs. Parley Fisher went through the Idaho Falls temple. First Counselor in the bishopric, bishop-ric, Gael W. Elmer, and Mrs. Elmer El-mer and their son Larry Joe, are still traveling in the east. Numbers on the program - in Mutual last Tuesday were a vocal solo by Gayle Tolley and talks by Darma Lofthouse and DuWayne Alger. Patricia Wil-cock Wil-cock was accompanist for Gayle. Fireside was held last Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Gillins, with the following fol-lowing persons present: Gerald and Jeanette Stoker, Shirlene Barnes, Kent and Duveen Han-ney, Han-ney, Aaron Hanson, Frank and Barbara Jones, Nona and Lorraine Lor-raine Gillins. After a general discussion refreshments were served. Visitors at Mutual on Oct. 16 were John Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Spafford of the MIA Stake board. The Guardian Bee Hive class had a fathers' and daughters' party on Oct. 16. All of the girls and four fathers were present. pres-ent. After a program and games the girls served chili to their fathers. |
