Show NEWS NOTES FROM GREENVILLE By MRS. GEO. A. HORTON 1 1 Mr. and Mrs. Glen Faekerell and family of Ruth, Nev., have been vacationing in Greenville the past two weeks. They are at the home of Mrs. Fackerell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David F. Atkin. I Mr. and Irs. Ed Lewis and sons of Albany, Cal., have spent the past two weeks vacationing here. Mrs. Lewis is also a daughter of the David Atkins. Mrs. Emma Williams and Mrs. Alice Heslington returned last week from Bishop, Cal. They were accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Heslington Hesling-ton and Mrs. Pauline Coffee and daughter Kay. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Shipp and daughter Reta, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Davis and three daughters, all of Provo, came to visit with Mrs. Emma Williams Wil-liams and other relatives. On Sunday, July 22nd, they all enjoyed en-joyed a pleasant evening with Mr. and Mrs. Neal Williams and daughters of Pingree, Ida., Kay Blackner has returned, home after visiting relatives m Salt Lake, the past ten days. Mr7nd Mrs. Don Peterson of rocatello, Idaho, left Tuesday Tues-day after spending five days with Mrs. Peterson's father and brothers, Mr. Ross Calvert and sons. Mr and Mrs. Marion Reese and family of Panaca visited the Lawrence Thompsons on Sunday. Miss Winnie Blackner- returned re-turned home last Thursday with her mother and sister Celeste. Accompanying them was Miss Florine Sherril of Dallas, Texas Miss Sherril is a recent convert to the L D S Church. Last Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Jay Furness and three daughters daugh-ters Jayne, Jill and Judy, of Hamer Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. John Bowry of Salt Lake came to visit Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Edwards. Mrs. Furness was a roommate of Mrs. Edwards when they attended the A C at Logan. Mr and Mrs. Ralph Fordham and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Williams and family enjoyed en-joyed a canyon supper Monday evening with other members of their family from Beaver. Mrs. Nettie Fordham an Ross Calvert were called to tb sick bed of their father, M William Calvert, who was' ser ously ill Saturday night in tl Milford Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Facke ell of Springville and Mr Laura Pace and children ( Orem were in Greenville Sui day en route to Milford. Mr i Thackerell and Mrs. Pace ai ' daughters of Mr. William Ca vert. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Smith ar daughter left Saturday for the ' home in Ruth, Nev. Mrs. Betty Burr and childre of Salt Lake and Mrs. Rayn Chesley of Los Angeles are vi iting their parents, Mr. ar Mrs. Dan W. Barton. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Ba ton of Ogden. are visiting rel tives here this week. Mr. Von Beeson of Proi came Sunday to get Mrs. Beesi and daughter Pamela, who ha' x'. sited here the past ten days Mr. and Mrs. William L. W Queen of Richland, Wash., v ited here last week-end. Lea ing Monday, they will to Yellowstone Park and visit ri stives in Idaho en route home and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Car-I Car-I ter and family of Blackfoot, Idaho. All .those of the Wil-liamses Wil-liamses in Greenville were present. pres-ent. After an impromptu program pro-gram of songs and readings, ice cream and cookies were served. Gary Barton and Hal Chesley of Los Angeles are here spending spend-ing their vacation with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan W. Barton. Included among the many visitors in Greenville last week were Mr. and Mrs. West Barton of Fillmore, Ivan Frost of Bur-ley, Bur-ley, Idaho; Mr.' and Mrs. Tom Parkinson of Pintura, Kent Calvert Cal-vert of Caliente, Dale Chugg and Joe Smith of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Murdock and family returned from their trip to Idaho, via Ely, Nev., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. F.u'.on Murdock and family. |
