Show LEON DAVIS LAID TO REST IN MINERSVILLE Funeral services were held in the Minersville Ward chapel on Tuesday afternoon for Leon Davis, 65, who died Friday in Ihe Milford Hospital, after a lingering illness. Bishop Ruben- Dotson conducted the services. serv-ices. Mr. Davis was born March 27. 1886, at Mineisville, a son of William Jacob and Emma Helena Hel-ena Colton Davis. He married Idonna Eyre fit Minersville on Aug. 12, 1908. They lived at Minersville, where he engaged in farming and mining. He was a member of the L D S Church. Besides his widow, he is survived sur-vived by five sons and daughters: daugh-ters: Marcene L. and Dan Davis, Mrs. Theo Marshall and Mrs. June Pear3on, all of Miners ville, and Mrs. Gwen Ogden of Milford; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother and a sister, James Davis Da-vis and Mrs. Laura Sherwood, both of Minersville. Burial was in the Minersville cemetery. |
