To acquire our present freedom free-dom there have been a great many long, hard, bloody contests con-tests and because of this, we can't sit back complacently looking on while all of 'his freedom is pulled through our hands. Our country is a great experiment, exper-iment, an experiment which is an effort to prove that such a voung country can rise up and become a major power over a long period of time forever if possible. Can we keep our position, po-sition, Can we keep our freedom, free-dom, That is 'he question all of the other countries are asking ask-ing now, and it may well pay all of us to ponder the question ourselves. If our freedom were to be taken from us tomorrow, there would be the greatest hue and cry ever raised. We would rush frantically hither and thither in an effort to regain our lost cause.
