Show ? Mr. and Mrs. Bus Hardy are building a new home in Milford. FIX-IT CLUB MEETS The Milford 4-H Fix-It Club conducted their second meeting Wednesday, May 3, at 7 p. m. Meeting was called to order by Rulon Hardy, president, after which we started on our assignments which include electrical elec-trical wire splicing. Here are the names of five splices that we were taught: the Western Union splice, lap splice, rat-tail splice, fixture splice, and the appliance cord splice. LYNN VESTAL, Reporter. Douglas Gillam, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Gillam of Bountiful, Boun-tiful, was awarded a new bicycle as an award for winning first place in the district elimination in the marble shooting contest, according to word received in Milford this week. Doug will compete in the state tourney Saturday. The A. T. Millers have purchased pur-chased the Roy Bradshaw home, and will move in soon. |
