I II .-w. ir III lliiaMMIIIH ' ire- LOGAN ORCHESTRA TO PLAY FOR M H S JUNIOR PROM NEXT FRIDAY "Dear Mr. Hughes," says a letter from Joddie Noble, director di-rector of a Logan dance orchestra, orches-tra, "we are certainly looking forward to playing for your dance April 14, and are making preparations for it." The Logan orchestra, billed as "Joddie Noble, his Trumpet and Orchestra," are popular entertainers in northern Utah and have been playing major dance engagements for a number num-ber of years. Featured entertainers enter-tainers are Marian Haslam, vocalist; vo-calist; Bobby Obropta, alto sax player from New Jersey; Ralph Heath, trombone; Ray Haslam, bass, and Johnny Metcalf , tenor. "Even though we do feature players in specialties," Joddy said, "our first concern is for the dancer and the maintenance of a fine danceable beat." The Junior Prom for 1950 will be staged next Friday, April 14th, in the High School Gymnasium. |
