Show MILFORD HIGH TO HAVE BUSY WEEK-END The Pre-Christmas week-end at Milford High will be a busy one for students and faculty members. Scheduled for Thursday Thurs-day and Friday are. the annual Christmas Formal dance, a special spe-cial Christmas Assembly, and a basketball game, the final pre-league pre-league warm-up for the Tigers. Vance Fisher's orchestra is to furnish music for the formal, which will be under the general direction of Glen Casterline, student body president. The Senior Banquet, presided over by Farrell Fotheringham, class president, precedes the dance. Members of the Board of Education and their partners, and faculty members and their partners, will be special guests. Each high school class participated partic-ipated in helping decorate the gym for the dance. At the special Christmas Assembly As-sembly Friday morning, Arthur Hansen will be general chairman. chair-man. The program follows: Invocation, Rev. W. K. Long-acre. Long-acre. Community Com-munity singing of Christmas Carols, directed by David C. Watkins. Benediction, Bishop Clarence Turtle.. Friday evening, the Tigers entertain en-tertain the Enterprise quintet, with the game starting at 8 p. m. ' The school Christmas vacation vaca-tion begins Friday, Mr. Leland Rex, principal, announced, with classes resuming on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Regular classes will be held each day the first week of January, Mr. Rox said, beginning begin-ning Tuesday and including Saturday, Sat-urday, Jan. 7th. |
