Fred Baker of Dlta, flying a Taylorcraft, visited downtown in Milford, Sept. 23, before returning re-turning to Delta. E. Leailt of Salt Lake, en route to Las Vegas in a Cessna 140, Sept. 25, stopped for gas at the Milford airport. . Jim Stephenson of Nephi, flying fly-ing a Stinson 150 to Las Vegas, stopped here Sept. 25. Mrs. A. H. Connell leaves today for Bremerton, Wash., to spend about two weeks visiting friends and relatives. Bill Haynie, AT&T boss, and Mrs. Haynie are enjoying a vacation trip to Rawlins, Wyo. They will be gone about a week. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll B. Johnson are now residents of Ottumwa, Iowa. Carroll is employed em-ployed in the John Morrell and ; Co. packing plant. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller of Caliente spent the week-end with their son Phillip and family. fam-ily. They brought with them Mrs. Mary Roper, a former Milford Mil-ford resident who has been visiting vis-iting with them. After calling on old Milford friends they re- , turned to Caliente on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch and Miss Rozetta, and City Marshal Leon Williams motored to Cedar City Tuesday night, where the judge and Leon attended a traffic traf-fic safety meeting for law enforcement en-forcement officers. Judge Koch said it was "a nice meeting," at which Ab Jenkins, among others, oth-ers, made an interesting talk. The peace justices in the outlying outly-ing areas were criticised, he said, for being "too lenient" with traffic violators. |
