CHRISTIAN SCIENCE Proverbs 12:5 provides the golden text for the lesson-sermon on "Unreality" at all authorized Christian Science churches on Sunday, October 2. It reads, "The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit." de-ceit." Another significant Biblical citation reads, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous un-righteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God for he will abundantly pardon" (Isaiah 55: ' 7). Mary Baker Eddy writes in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures that "Divine Science explains the abstract statement that there is one Mind by the following, self-evident proposition: If God, or good is real, then evil, the unlike-ness unlike-ness of God is unreal" (p. 470) |
