Show B Y U EXPECTS RECORD ENROLLMENT Anticipating an added enrollment enroll-ment of 200 students for Winter Quarter, Brigham Young University Uni-versity today re-emphasized details de-tails of its administration policy for the benefit of new students, according to Dr. Wesley P. Lloyd, dean of students. After a carefu' study of admissions ad-missions problems, Dean Lloyd said the university has decided that no students will be admitted without clearance by the admissions admis-sions committee. All persons considering entering en-tering the university next quarter quar-ter and in the future shou1 d submit sub-mit an application blank to the admissions committee on the regular reg-ular form at least 30 days before registration, he said. Registration cannot proceed until the student has received a note of acceptance from the admissions ad-missions committee. "During the autumn quarter," he continued, "some students were admitted on probation and given 10 days to complete their clearance." "However," he said, "this practice is being discontinued discontin-ued and students who appear without proper credential s will remain out of school until the proper forms have been submitted sub-mitted and regular admission granted. |
