Show LIONS TO ENTERTAIN DISTRICT PUBLISHERS Members of the Southern District Dis-trict of the Utah State Press Association, As-sociation, the state directors, and the state officers, will be guests of the Milford Lions Club when they meet in Milford in convention conven-tion sessions Saturday, December Decem-ber 11. Beginning at noon when the publishers gather at The Milford News office for an informal "gab session" and dutch lunch, the business sessions will be held during the afternoon, and the evening hours given over to entertainment, en-tertainment, with the local Lions and their ladies as hosts. A dinner din-ner is scheduled at 7:30, to be followed by dancing in the I O O F hall. If weather permits, and sufficient interest is shown by the press group, a tour to the Lehman Cave will be arranged Sunday morning. In addition to the visitors from Northern Utah, other publishers present will include the regional director, Frank Beckwith of Delta; Vance Wilson of Fillmore, Aird Merkley of Beaver, and the publishers of the Parowan Times, Cedar City Record, Washing-County Washing-County News and Kane County Standard. |
