Miners-ville. The Republicans have issued the statutory call' for a county convention, to be held in the court house in Beaver, April 12. The Democrats will hold their convention in Minersville, on April 24th. Republican district meeting for Milford will be held in the Old Library Building, April first. - Minersville Democrats named J. S. Murdock chairman, with Jessie Myers, vice chairwoman, and Beulah Woods, secretary-treasurer. secretary-treasurer. The central committee is composed of Truman Brad-field, Brad-field, Frank Pryor and Clinton Thompson. Named delegates to the county nominating convention conven-tion are J. S. Murdock, Truman Bradfield, Ralph Myers, and Clinton Thompson. No Democrats showed up for the meeting in Milford District 2, it was reported by Mr. C. Ed Leech. Officials of the two Milford Mil-ford districts will be announced next week. The Republicans of Milford District No. 1 will meet in the Old Library, April 1, at 8 p. m., according to Mr. Norman Baxter, Bax-ter, to name a chairman, vice-chairwoman, vice-chairwoman, eight delegates to the county Republican primary nominating convention, a secretary-treasurer and three committeemen. |
