Show HISTORY OF il BEAVER COUNTY . TO BE PUBLISHED ! BY COUNTY D.U.P. The History of Beaver County, a 500-page book to be published under the sponsorship spon-sorship of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, will be completed com-pleted and ready for publication publica-tion within the next few days, it was announced this week by Mrs. Walter Mackerall of Beaver, county D. U. P. chairman. For the past year the various var-ious D. U. P. Camps of the county have been gathering information and pictures that have a bearing on life in the early days, and preparing the material for publication. Contained in the book will be a complete record of every phase of the founding of the communities of the county, the record of its early settlers, their trials and accomplishments, and paragraphs or chapters concerning concern-ing the industries, development, growth and home life of its communities. Hundreds of invaluable in-valuable pictures will portray the early day persons and places of importance. Ladies of the six camps, under the direction of the county chairman, chair-man, have labored in the com-pilation com-pilation of the material. The book will be edited for publication publica-tion of Aird Merkeley, editor of the Beaver Press, and will be printed by the Milford News, Representatives of the Daughters Daugh-ters of Utah Pioneers are accepting accept-ing subscriptions for the valuable valu-able record, and emphasized the fact that only one edition will be printed.
