Sylvia Voorhees Geraldine Stoker, Jeanette Gil lins, Mary Reese and Marlys Gillins. : I THE MARRIAGE of Miss j Betty Jean Phelps, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Phelps, to Denton Walker, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. B. Walker of Milton, Ore., was solemnized Saturday ! afternoon in a garden ceremony held at the home of the bride's parents. The bride wore a two-piece I dress of white linen with navy I blue accessories and carried a Bible with an orchid on top and streamers falling from it. Miss Barbara Phelps was maid ol I honor for her sister, and was I dressed in pink linen. At the reception following Mrs. Dolf Koenig of Woodland, Wash., served the cake. Mrs. Howard G. Walker, poured, and Mrse. Lois Hayworth served the ices. The bride's grandmother Mrs. Zula Webb, and Miss Mary Fox, where in charge of the gifts and Miss Elizabeth Walker was in charge of the guest book. The couple will make thier home in Salem.
