Councilman Council-man Creer made a motion with a second by Councilman Peay, the city accept his preliminary plans. Motion carried. Charles Money of the city electric department met with the council to discuss the electrical elec-trical codes and inquiries as to cil regarding inpounding of animals an-imals (particularly horses), after af-ter some discussion, were referred re-ferred to the city ordinance in this regard and reminded that the ordinance would be enforced. en-forced. Norma Thomas of the State Liquor Commission met with the council to discuss the new liquor laws in the state and to answer any questions regarding mini-bottles, liquor locker clubs etc. The mayor was authorized to sign a resolution requesting the county planner to ask the state planning coordinator to make application for federal assistance as-sistance for the immediate preparation pre-paration of a comprehensive master plan for Springville City. Most cities have this, but Springville does not have one and this will be done as result of the action taken. |
