Show Anglers in Utah spent 3,818,402 days in fishing In 1968, anglers in Utah spent 3,818,402 days fishing. So states a report compiled by the Fisheries Section of the Utah Division of Fish and Game. The report also reveals that this group of anglers harvested 10,106,087 fish during the year. Of this total, 85 were cold water species and the remaining remain-ing 15 were warm water fish. Lakes and reservoirs received most of the pressure from anglers an-glers 72.5. Streams were less popular; anglers spent only 27.5 of their time stream fishing. This statewide survey of fishing pressure and harvest was conducted to collect data which would provide a factual basis for the State's fishery management program. |
