Show Pearl Sumsion paid respects at funeral rites Funeral services were con ducted Tuesday in the Fourth-Tenth Fourth-Tenth Ward Chapel by Bishop Blaine Clyde of the Tenth Ward for Pearl Madsen Allred Sumsion, 82, who died November Novem-ber 1, 1969, in a Mapleton rest home following a long illness. Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mrs. Sumsion was born April 3, 1887 n Lakevew, to Peter and Bertha Knudsen Madsen Jr. She was married to Don T. Allred on December 30, 1911, in Salt Lake City, and he died in 1924. She was then marred to Spender Sumson on February 8, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Sumsion was active in the LDS Church in all auxiliaries auxil-iaries in her early life. She resided re-sided in Spring City, Utah, during her first marriage, and had made her home in Springville Spring-ville since her marriage to Mr. Sumsion. Surviving are her husband of Springville, two stepsons and two stepdaughters, Max Sumsion Sum-sion of Springville; Randell Sumsion and Mrs. Floyd (Her-lene) (Her-lene) Evans of Lake Shore; and Mrs. Darrell (Naomi) Gardner of Gilroy, California; one brother and two sisters, Spencer Madsen and Mrs. Clara Taylor of Lake view; and Mrs. Evelyn Taylor of Orem. |
