Show Tfen Fom Are Tired of Sitting Just Fidget, Say the Experts The next time you are uncomfortable in a theater, stadium or auditorium seat fidget. That's the advice of seating experts at American Seating Company, Grand Rapids, Mich. Researchers have found that holding the body virtually motionless tenses and strains the body muscles, restricts circulation, cir-culation, and promotes discomfort and fatigue. Fidgeting and squirming relaxes those muscles and distributes distrib-utes the strain of supporting the body over a wider area, allowing allow-ing blood to circulate again through constricted vessels. Even only slight shifts of arm, leg or torso can restore comfort almost immediately. |
