Show Ladies sponsor successful golf tourney Seventy-two women entered the first open state field tournament tourn-ament sponsored by the Hobble Creek Ladies Golf Association Thursday at the Hobble Creek Golf Course. Ada Nelson of Mt. Dell club won low gross first place with an 85. Second place went to Mary Norman, Hobble Creek, with an 86; third to Charlotte Copenhaver of Mt. Dell, with an 88, and fourth was tied between be-tween . Sue Rasmussen and Nada Reuss, both of Bonneville, who scored 91. Eunice Ewing, Hobble Creek, scored first in low net with a score of 69. Other winners were as follows: second place, Liz Gaston, Provo, 71; third-fourth place tie, Amy Klauck, Hobble Creek and Marie Jones, Hidden Valley, 72; fifth-sixth place tie, Oris Merrill, Provo, and Van Eckersley, Oakridge, 73; seventh sev-enth place, Mildred Dubois, Willow Creek, 75; and eighth-ninth eighth-ninth place tie, Marge Bennett and Renee Nelson, Bonneville. Amy Klauck was tournament chairman and is a state representative repre-sentative in the golf association. associa-tion.
