Show Saturday rites at mortuary for Mrs. Brown Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Berg Mortuary in Provo for Mary Jeanette (Nettie) Wilkin Erown, 83, who died September 9, 1969 of causes incident to to age. Friends may call from 6 to 8 Friday evening and Saturday Sat-urday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetrey. Mrs. Brown had been making mak-ing her home here with a daughter, May Isaacson for the past year. She was born November 10, 1885 in Alpine, the daughter of Jeddiah Grant and Martha Hanna Healey Wilkin. She mar- red Reed Brown July 20, 1904 in Provo. He died July 12, 1950. She served as class leader m the Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society and was president of the YWMIA. She filled a two year stake mission in the Sharon Stake in Provo. She was active in the Daughters Daugh-ters of the Utah Pioneers, serving serv-ing as County Assistant Historian, Histor-ian, second vice president and was county librarian for 17 years. She was also captain and historian of her local camp, Camp Grandview. She was preceded in death by two sons, Dale and Lloyd. Survivors include one daughter and four sons: Mrs. William E. (May) Isaacson, Springville; Verl R., Dee, of Provo; Lisle of Salt Lake, and Nolon, Edmonds, Washington; 23 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Pearl) Street, Alpine; one brother.
