Show October, November showing Springvilk, Mapleton artists to hold exhibit at museum it is not necessary that a person receive an invitation in order to place an exhibit. Those who have previously entered may receive an invitation invi-tation to do so, however. Co-chairmen of this year's exhibit are Oneita Sumsion and Lo Jene Carter. Springville and Mapleton artists are being invited to participate in the 1969 fall festival exhibit at Spring-ville's Spring-ville's Museum during the months of Octobei and November. No-vember. The show is open to all residents of Springville and Mapleton over the age of 16 years. Amateur artists will be allowed to compete for first, second and third place prizes in the show only if their works were painted in the last two years. All artists will be allowed to hang two paintings in the show without with-out having their works juried. jur-ied. All work submitted for hanging must be original. Each artist may submit I two original art works, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, ceram-ics, or graphics for the exhibit. ex-hibit. An entrance fee of $1.00 is being asked, and all works for exhibit should be brought to the museum either Thursday, September 25 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. or Friday, September 26 from 12 noon to 8 p.m. The exhibit will open Sunday, Sun-day, October 5 with a reception recep-tion honoring all Springville and Mapleton artists from 2 to 5 p.m., according to Bruce Braithwaite, director. Mr. Braithwaite stated that MAKE PLANS Lou Jene Carter and Oneita Sumsion are co-chairmen of this year's Fall Festival of Springville Artists which will feature all artists of Springville and Mapleton during the months of October Octo-ber and November.
