Show Services held for Mrs. Warren Funeral services for Elsie Elizabeth Palmer Warren, 86, of Provo were held there Monday. Mon-day. Mrs. Warren died August 22, 1969 at the Utah Valley Hospital of causes incident to age. Burial was in the Provo City Cemetery. Mrs. Warren, who is the mother mo-ther of Mrs. Verl E. (Theda) Child, was born November 24, 1882 in Springville ,a daughter of William and Mersie Johnson Palmer. She married Elmo Stone in 1903. They were later divorced. She married Thomas Warren on December 8, 1910 in Salt Lake City. He died July 15, 1941. Mrs. Warren received her education ed-ucation in Springville City schools. Following her first marriage she made her first home in Springville, later moving mov-ing to Schofield. After her second sec-ond marriage she made her home in Schofield, moving to American Fork later, for five years. In 1916 they moved to Provo, where she had resided until her death. Very active in the LDS Church, she had served as a Relief Society teacher and had worked on the quilting committee com-mittee and Old Folks Committee. Commit-tee. She was active in the Provo Senior Citizens. Her hobbies were fancy needlework, quilting and knitting. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, LeRoy L. Lowe, Orangevale, California; Palmer T. Warren and Mrs. Stanley S. (Mildred) Taylor, both of Provo, Pro-vo, and Mrs. Verl E. (Theda) Child, Springville; 15 grandchildren; grand-children; 35 great grndchildren and one sister, Mrs. Lena Jor-gensen, Jor-gensen, Provo. |
