Show Safety course deadline nears As the frist of Utah's 1969 big game hunting seasons are nearing, the Division of Fish and Game issued a reminder to all first-time juvenile hunters that they must qualify through a hunter safety course before becoming eligible to buy a hunting license. Antelope, archery, ar-chery, deer and mourning dove hunts are all opening within the next 30 days and over a dozen other hunts will open before be-fore the last bird hunts begin in early November. State law requires any person per-son under 21 years of age to show a proper certificate when applying for their first hunt ing license. Those over 16 may present a certificate showing they have passed equivalent training in the armed services, ROTC, NRA, or show their hunting license from a previous year. For information on a training train-ing class in your area, you may call the Fish and Game office nearest you or contact your local Conservation Officer. All hunters 16 and under must show the blue hunter safety card as proof of passing the hunter safety course when purchasing any hunting license. A cotton seed is 20 oil. |
