Show Former Mapleton resident dies after surgery Funeral services were held Saturday in the Moon Lake Ward for Lynette Tew, 19, daughter of Burton Edwin and Mary LeRoy Tew, formerly of Mapleton, followed by graveside grave-side rites and burial at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Ceme-tery. Miss Tew died June 4, 1969 in a Salt Lake City hospital following surgery. She was born Dec. 19, 1949 in Provo, a daughter of Burton Edwin and Mary LeRoy Tew. She was a graduate of Alta-mont Alta-mont High School in 1968. A student at BYU, she was a member of the BYU ballroom dance team. She was a member of the LDS Church and was a primary teacher and organist in the' BYU Sixty-fifth LDS Ward . Surviving are her parents of Talmadge, and the following brothers and sisters, Burton E. Tew Jr. of Granger; William Fred and Thomas LeRoy Tew, both of Talmage; Mrs. Dale R. (Norma) Bernston of Salt Lake City; Mrs. William Edward (Carolyn) McCandless of Huntington, Hunt-ington, Emery County; and John Gain Tew of Provo. |
