Show Katherine Gammell Holley Funeral services I held Monday for Mrs. Holley Final respects were paid Katherine Gammell Holley, 75, at funeral services held Monday Mon-day in the Tenth Ward under the direction of Bishop Blaine P. Clyde. Mrs. Holley died at her home May 22, 1969. Burial was in the Springville Evergreen Ever-green Cemetery directed by Wheeler Mortuary. She was born Feb. 13, 1894, at Springville, a daughter of Francilla and Charlotte Alexander Alexan-der Gammell. She was married to Ben Holley on Sept. 17, 1911 in Provo. A member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Holley was active ac-tive as a Relief Society teacher, and was a member of the DUP. She was also active in the B ! Springville Senior Citizens organization. or-ganization. Surviving are her husband, I ' Springville; three sons and four daughters, Blake J. Holley and Ben R. Holley of Ogden; Mrs. Fred (Emma) Jex of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Marcus (Catherine) Johnson of Provo; Mrs. Ardeen (Margaret) Van Leuvan, Mrs. R. L. (Bernice) Watts and Frank Holley, all of Springville; Spring-ville; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers broth-ers and two sisters, Ray W. Gammell of Springville; L. D. Gammell of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mrs. Genevieve Hapgood of Anaheim, Calif.; and Mrs. Josephine Jo-sephine Kelly, American Fork. |
