Show Pep Club holds Preference Ball Devil Debs, high school Pep Club, sponsored the annual Preference Ball last Saturday and also announced the -most preferred men in the high school as well as presented the Friday morning assembly. The assembly was themed to "The History of .Love" which depicted depic-ted such famous lovers as Romeo Ro-meo and Juliet. Scarlet O'Hara and Rhett Butler down to today's to-day's modern lovers. Cheryl Weight was in charge of the assembly. After Dusty Collings and Robert Stokes sang the theme song, "Today," the three most preferred men elected by the studentbody were announced as follows: MacArthur Halona, most preferred senior: John Preston, junior; Ron Hitchcock, sophomore. Saturday night a large crowd attended the Preference Bail and enjoyed live music and a floor show. The Pep Club members, dressed in their beautiful beau-tiful floor-length formals, and their escorts promenaded and sang the theme song.
