Show Funeral services Saturday for former resident Funeral services for Sarah Isabel Johnson, 82, a former resident of Springville, who died Tuesday, January 28, 1969, in Salt Lake City, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel. Bishop Lawrence Law-rence Lynn of the Fifth Ward, will be in charge. Friends may call at the mortuary mor-tuary Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, before the services. ser-vices. Burial will be in the Evergreen Ev-ergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born June 1, 1886 in Round Valley, Rich County, to John Joseph and Elizabeth Jackson Earley. She was married to Lyman Wallace Johnson, April 23, 1909 at Round Valley and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Lo-gan LDS Temple. Mr. Johnson died February 9, 1935. Mrs. Johnson was a member mem-ber of the LDS Church and had served in various auxiliary organizations or-ganizations during her earlier life. She had resided in Wales, Sanpete County; in Arizona and was in Springville 12 years; she also lived in Provo and recently in Salt Lake City. Surviving are a daughter and seven sons, Mrs. Arden Mrs. Sarah Isabel Johnson, 82, for whom services will be held here Saturday at 11 a.m. (Alberta) Lamb of Magna; Lawrence Johnson of Vernal; Lorrin Johnson of Santa Monica, Mon-ica, Calif.; Kenneth Johnson of Springville; Albert Johnson of Salt Lake City; Udell and De-Vell De-Vell Johnson of Tooele and Max Johnson of Provo; also 21 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters, Ammon Earley, Fredonia, Arizona; Ari-zona; Mrs. Esther Jones and Mrs. May Thomas, Paradise; Mrs. Olive McCarthy, Kearns; Henry Earley, Round Valley. |
