Show Springville dobs give Christmas gifts to families in need Because of the kind acts and the spirit of giving by members of the Springville Federated Women's Clubs, residents in the various hospitals hos-pitals and rest homes were made happier this past Christmastime. Under the guidance of Council President Marie Johnson, each of the clubs assisted in various ways to provide gifts for those in the Ann's Rest Home at 400 North Main and the Tod-holm Tod-holm at 800 South and 321 East in this city and the American Fork Training School, the Youth Center of the Utah State Hospital and the Utah State Hospital in Provo. At the Youth Center per sonal gifts and clothing, games and toilet articles were given. These were collected col-lected and furnished by the Companions Club. State Hospital at American Ameri-can Fork received a large box of clothing of many kinds, some new and others nearly new, and a large assortment as-sortment of toys. In the clothing assortment were shoes, pants and other useful use-ful items to be worn. A number .of the toys were new and others like new. At the rest homes here, clubs donated money to help provide a large basket of fruit for each home. One of the gifts included a subscription subscrip-tion to a magazine donated from the Third Ward. Other individuals also offered and assisted in the project. Mrs. John son reported that the gift giving project was completed Sunday at the homes here with the others having been delivered last Friday.
