Show Jewd Joted . . . Judy Swanson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orval Swanson, returned Sunday from New York, where she attended the graduation of Second Lt, Russell Rus-sell Olsen from West Point. One of 706 to graduate, Lt. Olsen is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Olsen of Duchesne, formerly for-merly of Springville. Judy also spent three days with Mr. and Mrs. Terry Swanson in Jacksonville, Jack-sonville, Florida. Terry is stationed sta-tioned at Cecil Field, Florida, and was recently promoted to Third Class Petty Officer. House guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Conover this week are Dr. and Mrs. G T. Anderson of Las Cruces, N M. Mrs. Anderson is the former for-mer Florence Mendenhall of Springville. They have alsc been entertained by Mr. anc Mrs. Edward Clyde and othei relatives and friends here anc in Provo. They came here frorr Pasadena, Calif., where they attended at-tended the graduation of a son Christopher, who received a PH. D. from Cal Tech. He will be teaching in the University of Wisconsin at Madison. They also visited a son, George, ir Los Angeles. The Andersons plan to go from here to Michigan Michi-gan for a. month. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Boyach and children sepnt the past weekend visiting and sight seeing see-ing in Denver, Colorado. They went especially to see a nephew PFC Larry Weight at the Fit-zsimons Fit-zsimons General Hospital. They reported him doing better although al-though he will be confined tc the hospital for quite some time. |
