Show Youfli foot boll begins Teams have been practicing for the past three weeks and according to coaches and officials, offi-cials, the boys are in good shape and ready for competi tion. An invitation is extended to the general public to s the games and help support thf new junior football program as well. Springville youth will begin their football season Saturday night, Sept. 9, at the North Park announces Football Commissioner Com-missioner Richard Carter. The first game will begin at 6 p.m. with the Rotary team meeting the Johnson Tire e'ev-en. e'ev-en. The junior players play 10 minute quarters. The second game of the double program will begin at 8 p.m. with G. S. Wood's team meeting the Jaycee sponsored gridders. To help finance the newly started program in the city a small fee will be charged per person for the first game. |
