Show Most counties at trade school Students from 27 of Utah's 29 counties are enrolled in day school classes at Salt Lake Trade Technical Institute. A survey of the studentbody showed that Morgan and Daggett Dag-gett are the only Utah counties coun-ties that do not have students enrolled in the state-operated school. Enrollment at Trade Tech this year is 2,121 students. Of that number, 996 are en- rolled in the day program, preparing pre-paring for occupations in electronics, elec-tronics, barbering, auto mechanics, me-chanics, bookkeeping and secretarial sec-retarial work, construction art, diesel mechanics, beauty culture, cul-ture, mechanical and architectural architec-tural drafting, electricity, marketing, mar-keting, machine shop technology technol-ogy printing, practical nursing, welding, auto body repair and auto painting. The survey showed that the average age of Trade Tech students stu-dents is slightly higher than in recent years. It is 23.79 years. Last year the average age of these students was 22.6 and in 1962 it was 21.7. Male students outnumber the lassies by st three-to-one ratio, ra-tio, according to the survey results. About half of the Trade Tech studentbody hold part-time or full-time jobs besides their school work.
