Show Dates listed for BYU registration Deadline for application for admission to Brigham Young-University Young-University for autumn semester will be Julv 30. President Er- nest L. Wilkinson reminded students. Deadlines have been used for two years at BYU to bring order or-der in the registration prpcess and to enable school officials to make better plans for faculty and classes, he said. Orientation for freshmen and new sophomores is scheduled for Sept. 13-17. New students register Sept. 15 and all other students Sept. 16 and 17. Class instruction begins Sept. 19. William R. Siddoway, dean of admissions and records, instructed in-structed students seeking to enter BYU that the application must be accompanied by two copies of the transcript of credits cred-its and results of the American College Test. Students who have questions about their American College Test scores or some who were not able to take it, such as LDS missionaries mission-aries abroad, should contact the Admissions Office, he said. Dean Siddoway said packets of registration materials will be prepared for all new students who have been accepted and all students having taken daytime classes during spring semester or Summer School, 1966. Former Form-er students and those who have taken only evening classes must reapply. Registration will be held in George Albert Smith Field-house Field-house in strict alphabetical order or-der for the three days. Enrollment Enroll-ment is expected to exceed 19,-500 19,-500 daytime students. The tolerance of variety is the mark of intelligence. |
