Show On Tuesday, July 20, Mr. and! Mrs. Stanley Long and daughter' Linda, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pollock visited in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. George Mang and son. Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson and daughter JoAnn and Bobbie Lee Johnson motored to Como Springs Sunday. Recent overnight guests of Johnny Johnson were Kent Sun-kins Sun-kins and Reeves Dahlstrom. Jackie Hall had as guests Saturday Sat-urday evening JoAnn Anderson, i.Sharlene Foster, Maxine Garrett, Rena Joy Coleman, Bobbie Lee Johnson and Joan Johnson. Gaines Gain-es were played and lovely refreshments re-freshments were served. Shur- j lene, Maxine, Joan and Rena Joy stayed all night for a slumber ' party. Primary conference was held July 16th at Draper with West Jordan and Mount Jordan wards 1 in attendance. Attending the morning session were Mrs. Norma Nor-ma Nichols, Mis. Bernice Foster and Mrs. Delana Long. They were joined after lunch by Mrs. Ruby Knudsen, Mrs. Jeri Doman, Mrs. Bessie Dahlstrom, Sharlene Foster, Fos-ter, Mrs. Rosa Scroggin, Mrs. Dott Sutherland, Bobbie Lee Johnson, JoAnn Anderson, Mrs. Betty Winn, Mrs. Ethel Lancaster, Lancas-ter, Mrs. Katie Peterson, Mrs. Melba Harker, Mrs. Zelda Nix nd Mrs. Irene Christeasen. There are seventeen enrolled and everyone was present. Mrs. Maxie Johnson, Mrs. Mildred Johnson and Mrs. Hannah Han-nah Smith visited with Mr. and Mis. Homer McDonnell and family fa-mily of Salt Lake City. Word has been received that the American Legion ball team is having a wonderful time in Montana. They also spent some time in Yellowstone park. o joyed a canyon party Tuesday, July 20 at Little Cottonwood canyon. can-yon. The group played Softball, horseshoes and volley ball, and hot dogs, punch and watermelon were enjoyed. A slumber party was enjoyed at the home of Marian Murano by Linda Smernoi'f, Linda Long, Montez Hansen, Pearl Milner, Pearl Marcon, Peggy Blake, Camille Groves, Donna James, Linda Brisk and Jeanettc Pino. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christen-sen Christen-sen of Bingham were dinner guests Wednesday, July 21st, of Mr. and Mrs. 'J. W. Johnson and family. Dinner was served in the patio. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen Sunday, July 19 were Mrs. Grace Jones, Mrs. Joan Flinders and Susan Flinders of Salt Lake City and James Reilly of Portland, Ore. Miss Suzie Longfellow of Bingham Bing-ham is spending this week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. McKellar. Mr. and Mrs. Gough and family fa-mily are now making their home at 95 Cyprus St., Copperton, in the house formerly occupied by the Frank LaComb family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tatton are moving into the house formerly occupied by the Fred Meyers'. Scout Leader Stanley Long took his troop on a hike Wednesday, Wednes-day, July 21. They cooked their dinner and went on a five-mile hike. Those attending were Don-nie Don-nie and Ronnie Markovich, Kent Simkins, Reeves Dahlstrom, Johnny Johnson, Paul McMullin, Dale Anderson and Dennis Scroggin. Scro-ggin. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Granquist and sons of Bingham are moving into the house formerly occupied by the Ray Tattons on 4th East Street, Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Grant had as dinner guests Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. James Crellin. Mrs. George Bolman visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Erdman of Union. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Grant visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson and children, child-ren, Eddie, Claudia and Kathy of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. George Anderson and daughter JoAnn, grandson Randy Ball, Bobbie Lee Johnson and Shirley Johnson enjoyed swimming and dinner at Saratoga Sara-toga Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Meyer arc now making their home in Murray. Mur-ray. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Long and family of San Jose, Calif., arrived ar-rived Wednesday, July 21, to visit with Mr. Long's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Long and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Long and daughters, Linda and Claudia. Clau-dia. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pollock entertained at a birthday dinner Wednesday honoring their daughter dau-ghter in law, Mrs. Faye Pollock, and daughter, Mrs. Delana Long. Doris Abplanalp, Beverly Ray, Jackie Dahlstrom and Joyce Rawlings enjoyed a lovely day at Sunset Beach Wednesday. j Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever returned home last Friday from a week's vacation that took them to Las Vegas, Nev., Bryce canyon can-yon and Cedar city. They also enjoyed fishing on Panguitch lake. Monday evening Mrs. Ma,ry Anderson and Mrs. Pearl Cheever Cheev-er visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family of Granger. Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Cheever were Mrs. Helen Davis of New York City, Mrs. Armond Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Peterson Pe-terson and family all of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever and family of Granger. Copperton Ward held a canyon Earty Tuesday at Tanner Flats in ittle Cottonwood canyon. A weenie roast and watermelon were enjoyed and everyone had a wonderful time. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Allen of Springville spent Thursday visiting vis-iting with Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen. Mrs. Allen is Mr. Chiistensen's niece. They also enjoyed seeing the mine. Joyce DeCol is expected home sometime Friday after spending a few weeks with her brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Monte DeCol, in California. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen and Colleen and Lois attended a wedding reception for their cousin, Harry Davis in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Poulson visited Saturday in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. William Russell and family. Mrs. LaVon Larsen and daughter dau-ghter Colleen visited with Mrs. Ross Palmer and sons of South Jordan Wednesday afternoon. Enjoying a swimming party at Saratoga Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nosack and family and Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker and family. Janet Johnson of Salt Lake City is spending a week with Elsie Stoker and Connie Tanner. Week end visitors of Mr. and Mrs. David O. Stoker and family were Mr. and Mrs. John Christensen Christ-ensen and daughter Jolene of Logan.
