Bingham mine observation area dosed At the outset of this year, it was announced that the visitors' vis-itors' observation area at the Bingham Mine would be .closed temporarily. This closure was necessitated by major expansion expan-sion work at the mine, resulting result-ing in removal of the previously previous-ly existing visitor facilities. A brand new overlook is now under construction and will offer even more spectacular views of mine operations than the earlier site. The .company anticipated opening this new facility sooner, however, recent inclement weather has caused postponement until early in May.
